Netball Prodigy Ava-Mae Triumphs

Our very own Ava-Mae Bennett from year 8 has always had a great talent for netball. She joined Sutton Town Netball Club, in September 2023,  and maintained her place in the County U13s performance team. Ava trains 3 or 4 times a week, and plays on Saturday and Sunday, travelling to various parts of the country, which is testimony to her absolute dedication

Ava's netball highlights this year have included:

1^st Place U13s England Youth Premier League Southern Conference

3^rd Place U13s England National Finals where Ava was recognised as "One to Watch" and MVP

1^st Place Sutton Town U14s England Netball Regional final

3^rd Place Sutton Town U14s England Netball National final

1^st Place Sutton Town U14's England National final

Ava also helps manage and coach her previous Little League team, understanding her sport differently.  Recently, Ava successfully trialled for the U14s Emerging Talent Programme for the newly formed Birmingham Panthers netball franchise. 

We are all so proud of Ava and we look forward to watching her continued success in her career.
