Year 9 Police Museum

During the Autumn term all of our Historians in Year 9 went to the West Midlands Police Lock Museum.

The visit was linked to their local study on the Industrial Revolution but with a particular focus on crime and punishment in the late Victorian and early 20th century.

We think it is fair to say that many of our students were shocked and appalled at the lack of sanitation and overcrowding that was quite common in the lock up.
