World Book Day 2025

We are excited to announce that on Thursday, 6th March 2025, we will be celebrating World Book Day at our school! This special day is dedicated to fostering a love for reading and encouraging creativity amongst our students.

To make the day even more enjoyable, we have planned several fun activities:

  • Character Dress-Up Competition: Students are invited to come dressed as their favourite book characters. We encourage them to use their imagination and get crafty with their outfits—there's no need to purchase a costume. There will be lots of great prizes for the most creative costumes!

  • Book Sale: During break time, we will have a book sale where students can purchase books for 50p each or 3 for £1. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to expand their personal libraries at a very affordable price.

  • Non-Uniform Day: Students can enjoy a non-uniform day for a small donation of £1. Please note that all children, including those in costume, will need to pay £1 if they are not in uniform.  Money should be sent in with pupils on the day, to be collected by form tutors.

All money raised from the book sale and non-uniform day will go directly to our school library to purchase books that students have requested. This will help us ensure that our library continues to be a valuable resource for all students.

In addition to these activities, there will be various other fun events throughout the day to celebrate the joy of reading.

We look forward to seeing all the wonderful costumes and hope that everyone has a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day!
