World Book Day 2025!
Another fantastic World Book Day at Queensbridge
On 6th March, we celebrated World Book Day with great enthusiasm and success. The event was a fantastic opportunity for students and staff to come together and celebrate the joy of reading, while also raising funds for our school library.
The day saw an incredible turnout, with students arriving in a variety of creative and colourful character costumes. Amongst the many characters represented were favourites from Wicked, Harry Potter, and Ali G, adding a vibrant and fun atmosphere to the celebration. Not to be outdone, our dedicated staff joined in the fun, dressing up as characters from Where's Wally, making it a truly memorable day for everyone.
Throughout the day, a range of competitions and activities kept the excitement levels high. Students participated in various literary-themed games and contests, showcasing their knowledge and love for books. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the costume competition, where students proudly displayed their imaginative outfits.
Thanks to the generosity and participation of our school community, we raised a significant amount of money for our school library. These funds will go a long way in enhancing our library resources, ensuring that our students have access to a wide range of books and learning materials.
Overall, World Book Day at Queensbridge was a resounding success, filled with fun, creativity, and a shared love for reading. We look forward to making next year's celebration even bigger and better!
