Students get a taste of French at Oxford University

Today, 30 pupil travelled to Keble College, Oxford University to learn about Higher Education and to have a taste of French at University.

They had a tour of the College by two undergraduates who answered students' questions about life at Oxford. This was followed by a 'mini lecture' by a PhD student on the Nouvelle Vague French cinema movement.

Pupils had lots of interesting questions and contributions before their lunch in the Great Hall. Then they headed over the road to the Pitt Rivers Museum to see its famous anthological artefacts before making their way home, tired but excited about Modern Languages, University life and the future, as pupils think about their GCSE options next half term.
