The Duke of Edinburgh journey begins

Thirty-eight Year 10 pupils today began their journey towards achieving the D of E Bronze award.

The pupils all completed their enrolment and started to set their goals for completing their skill, physical and volunteering elements of the award. With a wide variety of new skills being embarked upon and some fantastic volunteering placements in and around the local community, these pupils are the first in a number of years to take part in the award. With expeditions planned to the Lickey Hills and Cannock Chase, pupils are certainly excited and ready to meet the challenge of this prestigious award head on.
