Year 8 'Duke of Edinburgh' Themed iWeek

Year 8 have been following a D of E themed iWeek and are spending the first three days mirroring the skill, volunteering and physical elements of the award.

Pupils have been putting their fitness to the test, learning how to make kits, play Dohl drums, speak in sign language and create a mosaic to name just a few. In the volunteering section, pupils have been out and about in the local community, helping with painting benches, looking after the elderly, looking after animals and working with the nursery at Park Hill School. It has been a fantastic starter for doing the full D of E Bronze Award and pupils have given every element 100%.

We now look forward to the final day and even more success! Follow our stories on Twitter!
