Queensbridge School are seeking a Data and Examinations Officer for our school.

Queensbridge School is an 11 - 16 comprehensive, friendly and oversubscribed all-ability Foundation School of 900 pupils.  Ofsted has graded the school as ‘outstanding’ in all categories and identified ‘…..”Its highly imaginative and innovative curriculum” where “students make outstanding and rapid progress”.

We are looking for an experienced, resourceful and conscientious administrator or examinations officer to start in September 2019. This is an important role which is essential in the academic operation of the school and involves close interaction with subject leads and other senior teachers.   

As the Exams Officer you will be aware of examination changes each academic year and manage the team of invigilators.  You will be responsible for the administration of internal and public exams including entry, exam timetables, access arrangements and exam protocols.  You will manage exam days in accordance with awarding body regulations and you will manage examinations results including accessing results and preparing for results to be disseminated to pupils. 

In addition the job holder will contribute to procedures including assessment and timetabling for all pupils, communicating with pupils and staff across the School to ensure that an excellent service is provided. They will also support the annual cycle of Quality Assurance processes including programme approval and review, student feedback and representation, and reporting to internal and external bodies.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organised, work well under pressure and work with a great attention to detail. Experience of examination administration and compliance with examination regulations would be ideal pre-requisites but are not essential. This is a full-time position during term-time plus one additional week (which will include the public examination results periods in August). Flexibility of working hours during the exam seasons is required.
