Literacy for Learning

We have made attendance to all of the National Literacy Trust's Live Conference events available for pupils, parents and staff. Please look at the timetable attached to see if any of the events are of interest.

You can sign up by clicking on the relevant link within the timetable. You will then be sent a Zoom link.

The first of these events is tomorrow (Thursday 21st), and is a keynote speech from the highly influential Alex Quigley who currently works for the Education Endowment Foundation. His ideas and books about closing the reading gap are game changers, so this would be my top recommendation!

  • KS3 pupils might be interested to sign up for the author talks. Sarah Crossan is a very popular author at QB!
  • Of particular interest to our KS4 pupils will be the talks on employability, interview skills, CV writing and career paths.
